Club Captain’s Report
Rob Gooch thanked all the runners who had supported the club by turning out for the Notts AAA’s and Booth Race leagues. The next race in the Booth League series is at Nutbrook on July 15th. In the Notts AAA’s league we are currently 10th in the county, but only 38 points behind Sutton, but only 7 points in front of 11th. The next race is on the 9th July at Worksop.
If you can share a car with other runners for these races, please do so.

Social Secretary’s report
Paul Turville reported that the Quiz night went very well, and thanked Michelle Garner and her husband for the loan of the projector, and for taking photos.
Other socials planned are a trip on the Nottingham Princess and  a Greens Bowling Night. Unfortunately, the proposed trip to do the ‘La Transbaie’ has fallen through, as the race is full.
Rob Gooch mentioned the possibility of organising a drinks night, probably on July 18th.

Kit Manager
Michelle Robinson mentioned that the sweatshirts have arrived , and the running vests will be available in a couple of weeks.

Club Chairman
Ray Johnson said that he enjoyed the quiz night, and was pleased that the club was getting full teams out for league races.
He was concerned however, that we have had a few women runners join the club for a few weeks, and then not come again because of a lack of anyone to run with.
Has anyone any ideas how we can improve this situation?

Website Manager
Steve Beck has sent out an email querying whether anyone wants to put down their PB’s on the website.

Treasurer’s report
Rob Bailey said that he had had most of the subs from existing members now, but with a couple of exceptions. There are currently 47 paid up members.

John Pymm Handicap
The next race in the series is on July 30th from the Horse and Groom, Moorgreen.
The 2nd race in the series was won by Hazel Moyes, followed by Gary Whelan and Peter Fowles.

Tony Harper 17 points
Gary Bannister 14 points

There is almost a case for a men’s and women’s award. Please let me know if you agree or not.
