We have received some very positive comments from this and previous years races and will be grateful for any feedback for this year’s race;
Just a quick email to say thank you to everyone for organising the 2008 goose fair gallop - it cant have been great for all the marshalls standing about on a cold and wet day, but everyone was really enthusiastic and helped make for a great little run. Also wanted to let you know, that myself and others thought that the new 10k route was great - (we'd not anticipated the finish last year, and this year it was very clear) I've already posted a comment on runners world, but just wanted to ensure that everyone got a big thank you too!
The GFG was the first race I ever ran and I still have a soft spot for it ..... Many thanks to all your marshalls on Sunday who had to spend far longer than the runners out in the cold and wet, and who were invariably friendly and encouraging. Thanks for a great race. See you next year!
Thank you for message about me winning over 55 prize.. what a nice surprise. Thank you for the race, it was great fun and very well organised, even down to the weather!
Can’t believe it!!!!!!!Just received my cheque this morning, thank you very much. Never thought I would win anything, would have loved to have been at the prize giving. Will see you soon.
Thanks. My friends and I really enjoyed the run, all that lovely mud!!!,we were so relieved to have finished and rushed off for a much needed shower so I was unaware I'd won anything!We will most definately be joining in again next year. Thanks again.
Hi, Just a note to say thanks for a great race sunday, first time on this one and will do it again. I found the marshalls very friendly and helpful around the course, which is one of the muddiest I've raced in and loved it,fantastic!.One blip to the proceedings, I went and stopped my watch at the first mile instead of the split time, and I was so knackered at the end, that I didn't see the car time, so no finish time either, doh. Just sitting on tender hooks now for the results to come through on your website. I though the finish was abit strange, being a walk from the start, but my legs didn't seem too stiff when I got home, maybe the short walk back to the leisure centre helped loosen the legs abit, possibly a good idea after all! Look forward to next year.
I would like to congratulate the team who organised the Goose Fair Gallop event.It was the first time I have run but I will certainly be entering again next year.
Congratulations on today’s race really enjoyed it, even the muddy bits, really well organised. Thanks Again
Congratulations to all involved in organising the Goose Fair Gallop and a big thank you to all the marshals for their encouragement during the race, see you next year.
Just to say thanks for another great race. In particular thank you to all the officials and marshalls who are always so friendly and encouraging.
