I’ve been very efficient today sending out the results the same day as the race just don’t expect it to be a regular thing.  Anyhow Ian H’s dream didn’t come true and the race went ahead today in what was fairly mild weather.  The route was a 2 lap course with a couple of hilly parts, the course was down as 4.5miles but  I reckon it was a bit longer than this.  There were 9 KADS out, the turnout for the whole race in general was lower than in previous races but perhaps this was due to it being held Chesterfield way . The men’s team were 7th and the ladies’  team 8th and combined we were 7th.  For the whole league series the results were the same except for the combined placing which was 8th.

 

First back  was Ian in storming form to have a top 10 placing.  Not far behind was Carl in 14th place.   Matt made it into the top 20.  Next there were 3 KADS finishing in quick succession –Dan G, myself and then Dave who was an excellent 1st in his category.  Rob G came in next with a quick finish, followed by Paul N and Paul T completed the men’s team.
